NEW! THE V.I.P. GREEN
Officially register for the Race and you'll receive a green wristband, entitling you to V.I.P. services, perks, and surprises on Race Day!
Pink, we all know it means HOPE for the cures. And this year, we're adding a second color...green...the color of empowerment against breast cancer. Every person that officially registers for the 2012 Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure will receive a green wristband to wear on Race Day. V.I.P. perks include (but may not be limited to):
- V.I.P. lines for the Wawa Tent
- 'Spot Prizes' from Macy's and other great sponsors

These power-packed one-hour are perfect for Team Captains as well as new team members. Plus, Q&A will allow you to have your questions answered and hear how other teams best meet their Race needs and goals.
NEW! FIRST 48 MEMBER BUS CHALLENGE
If your Team is the first to register 48 members online, those 48 Team members will be taken to the Race compliments of YellowBird Bus Company. Convenient, fun, and a great way to foster Team spirit on Race morning, the winning Team will be picked up at one location and transported to the Race in a bus, which you can decorate in your Team's colors/themes. If no Teams qualify by March 15, the challenge will expire.
NEW! TEAM BUS DISCOUNTS
For the first time, the generous team at YellowBird Bus Company is offering our Race teams a discount per bus of 48 people, starting at $225 for Philadelphia located pickups/drop-offs. Team pickup/drop-off sites outside the city, please inquire about your discount. Your team chooses one location to meet, and the bus will shuttle you to and from the Race site. REGISTRATION: MAKE IT EASIER... AND BETTER
Save on Shipping & Handling
Encourage Team members to opt out of the S&H charge when registering online, allowing you to pick up their Race materials at Team Captain Early Pickup (see below) without having to collect individual registration forms from Team members. You may also want to consider:
- Asking team members to email you if they want you to pick up their materials for them
- Hosting a team get-together, where you can distribute the materials you picked up, share best practices for fundraising, and boost team spirit!

At these times, Team Captains can:
- Pick up Race numbers and t-shirts for all team members whose entries have been received on or before April 6 (if their materials have not been shipped).
- If team members are registering by mail, please bundle and mail them together in one packet with a Team Creation Form. Must be received by April 6.
- Please be prepared with an alphabetical list of all team members to facilitate the pickup process.

- Receive a Team Captain hat if your team has 25 or more members.

- Registration is available before, during, and after the game on the Main Concourse (inside, at the 3rd base entrance) and at the Hall of Fame Club
Assure proper credit to your Team
For registrations to count toward your Team total, registrants MUST include the correct Team when they register.
TEAM REGISTRATION PRIZES AND INCENTIVES
Sandy Richman Participation Challenge
The Team in each of the four divisions that registers the most members before April 29 (final online deadline) will be recognized on Race Day. Divisions and prizes are as follows:
- Family/Friends, Community Groups, and Company/Corporate: The winning team in each division will receive a trophy, with each team member also receiving a commemorative hat.
- High School: The winning Team will receive a trophy and a bicycle, with each Team member also receiving a commemorative hat.
Ultimate Hospital Showdown: Most Team Members Challenge
Teams must be created in the Hospital Division and members must be registered by April 25. The winning Team will be recognized on Race Day and at the Race Sponsor Party (May 12).
Work It...Win It! Challenges
Throughout Race season we offer Teams, Team Captains, and Team members fun and fabulous incentives to encourage Team building and fundraising. Work It...Win It! presents online challenges that are typically held over a one to two-week period, and are deadline oriented.
