Dietz & Watson Pretty in Pig Fundraising
Now entering its fourth year, the Dietz & Watson Pretty in Pig fundraising program has raised hundreds-of-thousands of dollars for the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate! Based on the fact that every penny counts when it comes to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever, Pretty in Pig is a way for all ages, walks of life, communities, businesses, organizations, and schools to make a difference in raising money for the cause, as well as raising awareness.
Pretty in Pig consists of five gigantic piggy banks and hundreds of piglets that make their way around our community collecting spare change and dollars.
So, this Race season, help send our 'little piggies' home...full of cash for the cures, by participating in the opportunities below.
2012 School Race Fundraising Contest
Dozens of schools each Race season enjoy having their classroom fill - and re-fill - of our Pretty in Pig piglets for this annual contest, which runs for approximately 4 weeks in early spring. Contest is open to daycare through high school. Prize levels are:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Top Fundraising Classrooms
- Grand Prize: Top Fundraising School per capita

VISIT & FEED THEM THROUGHOUT RACE SEASON
Our five gigantic Pretty in Pig banks are constantly roaming about the community and stopping at their favorite hangouts to collect cash for the cures...including supermarkets, community festivals, and more. VISIT & FEED THEM ON RACE DAY
Even after traveling all around throughout the fall, winter, and spring, our five gigantic Pretty in Pigs won't go home to rest in their pens at Dietz & Watson until they fill up one more time at the Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure! You can start saving your change right now, and then make a huge deposit at the Race site...doing so may even win you a prize in the Dietz & Watson 'Feed 'Em & Win' contest (pending).
HOST OUR PIGS AT YOUR EVENT OR BUSINESS
If you are planning a high traffic event (Race fundraiser or otherwise), you may be eligible to include one of our large pigs to show everyone how much you care about ending breast cancer.
Little piglets are also available to collect change year-round in offices, on the counters at retail stores, schools, etc. These are fun and powerful ways to augment your Race fundraising as a Team or individual.
