Individual Fundraising
You'll be surprised how easy it is to empower Our Race. Our Community. Our Cures! Through fundraising, in fact, it's like eating popcorn...once you start and get that first donation, you just want to keep on going! And so do we, because every dollar counts when it comes to saving lives today and helping to ensure that all future generations are no more threatened by breast cancer than they are the common cold.

- Post the donation form on your office or classroom door so supporters can sign up anytime.
- Utilize social networks. If you are on Twitter or Facebook, use your status updates to ask for donations. Post a link to your Race Center page.
- Change your voicemail message to announce that you are fundraising for the Race for the Cure.

How do I pick up prizes and/or reward(s)?
To help assure every possible penny of our community's Race for the Cure fundraising is used to advance the breast cancer movement, fundraising and performance rewards and prizes WILL NOT be mailed to recipients.
If you did not pick up your prize/reward on Race weekend, you can do so at the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate office, 125 South 9th Street, 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107. For your convenience, we recommend parking areas at 9th & Samson Streets, or 10th & Samson Streets, as parking outside The Affiliate office is extremely limited.
There are two post-Race pickup opportunities:
- Wednesday, July 25, 2012: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday, July 26, 2012: 12:00 noon - 7:00 PM
Please note:
- Fundraising prize winners will be declared after all monies received by June 1 are tabulated.
- Each person is limited to one prize category and there are no duplicate awards for performance prizes.
- Prizes/rewards not claimed during these pick-up times will be retained and used for future Komen Philadelphia Affiliate fundraising/outreach events.
